The documentary is a true story about the remarkable history of NWF Kids Pro Wrestling, a league that existed over 20 years ago during the 1980’s. The film is certainly a unique and inspiring story, and has a strong impact on both kids and adults alike, with an emphasis on the younger teenagers. Although the film is about a wrestling story, the message being told in the documentary is very broad and will appeal to most anyone, wrestling fan or not.

"We knew we had a solid production in this documentary, but winning an Aegis Award just confirms it", said Shawn Crossen, co-creator of NWF Kids Pro Wrestling. "We've worked very hard on this production to make it the best that it possibly could be."

The documentary, which was produced and directed by Shawn Crossen, includes a historical look back at America’s first ever kids professional wrestling league to ever exist. "I'm very pleased with this award. It goes to show you just how amazing this documentary really is," said Chuck Lane, co-creator and marketing director for the film. "It really is a solid production, and that’s what winning this award is all about."

This year's Aegis Award marks the third national award that this documentary has received in the past six months. Last November, the documentary received the 2005 Best Sports Documentary Award from New York and in March of 2006, it received the 2006 ScreenCraft Award for Best Documentary" from Los Angeles.
