Jeff Ortel was brought into the league by his older cousin Milton Warner back in the summer of 1984. Ortel quickly teamed with Luxury Lane to form the impressive tag team "The Luxury Brothers".

Ortel had classic matches with the like of Fabulous Fischer, Jackknife Jacob, and Crusher Crossen. Ortel’s style was very rough and tough, and what he lacked for in technique he made up for in brute strength, as he was always fun to watch.

Although Jeff Ortel never gained any titles in the NWF, his style and feuds with the likes of Crossen made his presence in the league most memorable. Never short for words, his interviews were some of the best in NWF history.

Ortel’s stay in the NWF was short lived as he left the league by the end of the summer of 1984, but his mark on the league shall never be forgotten.
