Fabulous Fischer

Mark Fischer was brought into the NWF from his friend Shawn Crossen in the early days of the NWF, back in the spring of 1984. Shawn gave Mark his name of Fabulous Fischer.

His style was very similar to Jerry Blackwell. And like Blackwell, Mark was a big sized kid, so the NWF quickly teamed up him and Matt Denny, and they were quite a tag team to deal with, as they were both big kids.

Mark had most of his matches against Luxury Lane, Jeff Ortel and Merciless Mike. And his biggest grudge match was against Mark Ackerman, where they both returned to the NWF on the 25th anniversary show for yet another match against each other.

The 25th show was the last one for Mark in the NWF, but his style was one of the best the NWF had seen, and he helped create the league in the early days of the show.
